The Results Come Out!

It is very happy to see the defeat of the independent candidates in the urban areas and true to my prediction they have lost and some even lost their deposits. The snake party can now die its natural death being soundly rejected by the people of Sarawak. But there is still big worry that because of ignorance, illiteracy and very backward living conditions without any resources, the rural poor are deprived of their rights and fair share of the nation's wealth and resources. While the whales and crocodiles grabbed all the lion's shore of the nation's resources and wealth, only bones and scraps were thrown to the rural poor to fool them like giving sweets to children. They have been deliberately kept in poverty and ignorance so as to be utilized for window dressing to keep a semblance of democracy. Anyway, we have the duty to eradicate the injustice by doing our part to fight for better education and development in the rural areas especially the ulu areas so as to be able to bring democracy and justice to them so that they would not be the fixed deposits of the corrupt regimes.

Let Everyone Rise Up!

All good people of hornbill land please hear me. This is the very important phase in our motherland. Let everybody tell everyone, our land is going to be free of bondage and slavery to the old corrupt mountain. It is time to come togerher to move the mountain to clear of all those rodents, termites and parasites in any names or brands. We are nughty wen we come together and unity really can move mountains and create happy environments for our desendents. Hurah, all people of Sarawak, it is really the best time to break free from the yokes and be happy and free!

A Hopeless Person

I regret very much indeed I have to cope with a very sinister character for a long time. This particular person likes to give very poor opinion of others especially those not to his likings. He paints very bad pictures of others and expect others to support him. Even after facts and figures are supplied to refute his allegations, he would still not accept the truth as truth. He thinks himself as good as saint but we know he is actually very narrow minded self-centered person thinking nothing of smearing others all along. He is neither happy nor healthy because of his perpetual negative attitude and he has practically no sincere friends at all. I don't know how to help him as he is rather diehard and impervious to even the most sincere advice. Well, I think the best thing is still to ignore him and help ourselves from being influenced by all the bad emotions and negative attitude so as to live a happy life in the remaining golden years.

A Buddhist Thought?

A friend who has been sending me a lot of messages with forwarded songs,pictures, video clips etc recently sent me some messages which strongly smell of Buddhist ideas and thoughts which seem to be appealing to the good nature and general love and mercy which form the essence of Buddhist thinking. I cannot agree with him on the thought as I don't believe in Christianity also. Although the love and mercy for all mankind is not a new idea yet there is a strong sense of justification for the injustice and unfairness of the present systems of government and it is also wrong not to put the main thing into focus, the world is full of crimes and injustices and it can only be righted and cleansed if we go against the root of the poison ivy--- the abuse of powers by political gangs!

Positive Attitude Towards Life

When we are now busily engaged and absorbed by all discussions on the subject of good food, exercise and long life, I think it appropriate to put some emphasis on the spiritual aspect. It is quite relevant to healthy life style to pay great attention to our mental health too. To be able to meet all challenges of life, we need to have a very optimistic view in life. There are always friends and foes around and of course there are people who we do not have contact nor any relationship. It is the enemies that we have to deal with to the best we can. Enemies are those who have done wrong to us or are not in good relationship with us due to one reason or the other. The best thing is to forget about them unless they intrude into our lives for some reason or other. For those who are malicious or mischievous, it is best to treat them as rubbish dumper which tries to dump the dirty garbage onto us. We can just ignore them and clean off whatever they throw. Our positive and optimistic attitude can do a lot to keep us health as anger, malice and grudge will eat away our spirit leaving behind harmful tocsin. Act immediately and start cleaning off any rubbish thrown by unwanted elements and our mind would resume the calm and balanced state of mind indusive to good health!

Growing Old

I now feel quite certainlyly that I am getting senile day to day. During my spare time at this coming new year, I picked up my phone and called to some old friends and relatives on my list. In the course of this, I found out that an old classmate's phone is not longer in use. I tried to ring his handphone and the answer was from a computer saying that the number is no longer in use. So apparently, that old pal did not survive to enjoy this new year celebration. So as in the past I have to take up my pen and cross out his name from my notebook . It is a pity and I have naturally a feeling of sadness as I usually do with each crossing out of names from my lists But I still do not fall to any superstition nor do I begin to turn to any relief or comfort from any religious consolation or exhortation. I know my limit and I know we cannot live beyond my biological limit. Do what we can for the good of mankind and leave no regret for the limited time on earth. When it is time to bade farewell to this world, well we can be satisfied that we have at least contributed our small part to this world. So there should be no fear to face the future.

Greed !

Politicians having tasted the enjoyments brought by their ill-gotten wealth would never relinquish such privileges and special rights even at the point of imminent downfall. The past president of Tunisia and now Mubarah or Egypt, Yemen and many more would never learn from history and would try their utmost to retain their posts at the cost of bloodshed and eventual dooms for themselves too. The past PM of our country namely Dr.M M is a peculiar and shameless corrupt leader who is still slinging onto some huge projects with the help of his henchmen who have been faithfully stealing the coffers of the nation and pay very faithfully to their master who has repeated belittled the other races while highlighting the contribution of his own race to give special rights for the allegedly peace and harmony among races . We all know he couldn't care less for any putras etc and bent on his own interests and wealth . Just imagine he still manages to hold on some projects serviced by his cronies among whom is a bankrupt thick-skinned enough to advertise recently that he has managed to complete a huge project in one State. Dr.M has admitted that he thinks Tunku is a fool to allow Singapore to join Malaysia thus to jeopadise the position of Malays as the dominant race in our country. At least this crook is honest enough to admit his racial bias to give a bullshit to 1 Malaysia slogan which is meaningless anyway.
